Role & responsibilities
Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve business objectives across all regions.
Own and deliver national sales targets for revenue, volume, profitability, and market share.
Build, expand, and strengthen the distributor, dealer, and channel partner network across India.
Recruit, lead, mentor, and motivate Regional Sales Managers, Zonal Sales Managers, and field sales teams.
Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and growth strategies.
Manage and grow key institutional, OEM, government, and PSU accounts.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Work closely with the Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams for product launches, demand planning, and market expansion.
Ensure healthy channel inventory, timely collections, and effective credit management.
Review sales performance, analyze KPIs, and present business updates and market insights to senior leadership.
Drive customer satisfaction, channel engagement, and long-term business relationships.

Preferred candidate profile
1218 years of proven sales experience,



with at least 45 years in a National Sales leadership role.
Experience in Power Backup, Inverters, Lithium Batteries, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Solar, Electricals, Power Electronics, Industrial B2B, or Energy Solutions is highly preferred.
Solid expertise in channel sales, distributor development, dealer management, and business expansion.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing large, geographically distributed sales teams.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred. Engineering background will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
