Role & responsibilities

i) Provide legal and techno-legal support on the Information Technology Act, 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other cyber laws.

ii) Conduct legal research, prepare reports, and assist in drafting policy recommendations on cyber law and digital governance issues.

iii) Review and analyze online content to identify legal and regulatory issues related to cyber laws and digital platforms.

iv) Coordinate with MeitY, legal experts, and other stakeholders for legal compliance and project-related activities.

v) Support the preparation of legal documents, SOPs, presentations, and project reports.

vi) Assist in organizing workshops, awareness programmes, and capacity-building activities on cyber laws and digital safety.

vii) Provide legal support for project implementation and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and government guidelines.

viii) Perform any other legal or techno-legal work assigned by the competent authority.
