Data Modeler - Associate Manager Job Description

a) Mandatory Skills
10+ years of strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
Experience with enterprise data models (e.g., BCDM) and subject area alignment
Ability to define source-to-target mappings and transformation rules
Proficiency with ER modelling tools (e.g., ERwin or equivalent)
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and lineage
Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
Familiarity with Databricks Lakehouse concepts and data architecture
Robust banking domain experience (Corporate Banking preferred)
Ability to translate business requirements into data models
Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Can work independently with minimum supervision
Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders




Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)

b) Valuable to Have Skills
Exposure to Snowflake / hybrid data platforms
Experience with data catalog tools
Knowledge of financial data standards (e.g., ISO20022)
Experience in regulatory programs (IFC, FSCS, etc.)
Basic knowledge of SQL / data engineering workflows
Experience in data product-based delivery models
