Role & responsibilities:
Design and develop LV and MV switchgear panels, motor control centers (MCCs), power control centers (PCCs), distribution boards, RMUs, and package substations.
Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings, and panel layouts.
Select electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, CTs, PTs, meters, protection relays, and busbars.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE, and customer specifications.
Coordinate with sales, procurement, production, quality, and commissioning teams for smooth project execution.
Review customer specifications, technical documents, and tender requirements.
Provide technical support during manufacturing, FAT, SAT, installation, and commissioning.
Resolve engineering issues arising during production or site execution.
Participate in design reviews and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
