Role Summary

The Information Security Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of the organization's information security framework. The role focuses on protecting IT systems, customer data, and digital assets by ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines, cybersecurity policies, and industry best practices. The incumbent will work closely with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Monitor compliance with RBI cybersecurity guidelines, DPDP Act, ISO 27001, and internal security policies.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and coordinate penetration testing activities.
Monitor security incidents, assist in incident response, and ensure timely resolution of security issues.
Manage user access controls, Identity & Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, and data protection measures.




Perform third-party/vendor security assessments and monitor compliance with security requirements.
Support Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing.
Conduct information security awareness and phishing simulation programs for employees.
Prepare security reports, audit documentation, and compliance dashboards for management.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, regulators, and business stakeholders on information security matters.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Qualified certifications such as ISO 27001, CEH, Security+, CISA, CISM, or CISSP (preferred).

Experience
58 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or IT Risk Management.
Experience in an NBFC, bank, or other regulated financial institution is preferred.
Positive understanding of information security frameworks, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
