Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, transaction processing, reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities.
Prepare and review journal entries, management accounts, and financial reports in compliance with UK/US GAAP and IFRS.
Support year-end close, financial consolidation, due diligence, and other ad-hoc finance projects.
Manage client finance inboxes, resolve accounting queries, and deliver exceptional client service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Identify prospects for process improvements and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
Review work, mentor junior team members, and support knowledge sharing (Associate level).
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or Semi-qualified CA/ACCA.
04 years of experience in UK/US Accounting.
Hands-on experience with Xero and QuickBooks.
Robust understanding of bookkeeping,
reconciliations, month-end close, management accounts, and UK/US GAAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage.
Solid communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for learning, ownership, and using technology to improve accounting processes.
Must Have Skills
Software Knowledge: Xero and QuickBooks
Technical Skills: Strong Excel & GAAP knowledge (IFRS, UK/US GAAP)
Preferred Skills: Google workspace (Docs, sheets, slides)
Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, time management, client coordination,
