Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Datadog Engineer to manage, configure, and optimize Datadog monitoring platforms across infrastructure, applications, and cloud settings.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and configure Datadog deployments, including agent installation, tuning, upgrades, and onboarding of hosts, containers, and cloud environments
Configure and maintain integrations, APM, network monitoring, and log collection
Design and maintain dashboards, monitors, alerts, health checks, and reports
Fine-tune alert thresholds, notification routing, and escalation policies
Manage user access and RBAC, including roles (Admin, Standard, Read-Only)
Handle SSO/SAML integrations and API/Application key governance
Perform troubleshooting and optimization for agent issues, performance bottlenecks, and application instrumentation
Work with Linux and application environments (e.g., Tomcat) for monitoring enablement




Collaborate with Dev, Ops, and Security teams to resolve incidents
Conduct user training, maintain documentation, scripts, and best practices

Skills Requirements
Robust hands-on experience with Datadog (enterprise-scale environments)
Proficiency in scripting: Python, Shell, or PowerShell
Solid Linux administration skills
Experience troubleshooting application and infrastructure performance issues
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Certifications (Preferred)
