About the Role

SJC Co., Chartered Accountants, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2 3 years of experience in a CA firm. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in accounting, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete books of accounts including purchase, sales, journal, bank, and cash entries.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B GSTR-9).
Compute TDS, prepare challans, and file quarterly TDS returns.
Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and monthly book closing.
Assist in preparation of Trial Balance, Profit Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
Support statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Coordinate with clients for accounting data and compliance documentation.
Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and accounting standards.

Requirements




Robust knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting.
Hands-on experience with GST filing and GST Portal.
Experience in TDS computation, return filing, and TRACES Portal.
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Robust command of MS Excel.
Understanding of Income Tax and statutory compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (Preferred).
2 3 years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accountant firm or accounting outsourcing setup.
