Create detailed highway design drawings (plans, profiles, cross-sections, detail sheets).Develop layouts for roadways, intersections, bridges, and drainage systems.Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) for precision drafting.Role & responsibilities
Review and interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and traffic studies.Reduce field notes into usable design inputs.Conduct site visits to verify terrain, drainage, and alignment conditions.
Ensure designs meet Indian Roads Congress (IRC) or relevant international standards.Maintain accurate records of revisions and design changes.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering/Draughtsmanship.
Certification in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) preferred.
Ability to prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction drawings.
Understanding of surveying techniques and ability to interpret survey data.
Familiarity with highway geometry, drainage design, and earthwork calculations.
Experience in preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs.
Knowledge of IRC codes and highway design standards 25 years of experience in highway/road design projects.
