Job Description Summary

The IIS Administrator role is responsible for managing, configuring, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Microsoft IIS environments hosted on Windows Server platforms. The position focuses on ensuring reliable web application deployment, server availability, performance optimization, secure HTTPS configuration, and operational support for web infrastructure components such as application pools, virtual directories, DNS, load balancers, and authentication settings.

Key Responsibilities
Server Administration: Install, configure, and manage IIS servers on Windows Server settings.
Application Deployment: Deploy, support, and maintain web applications and websites.
IIS Configuration: Configure application pools, websites, virtual directories, SSL/TLS certificates, host bindings, and authentication settings.




Monitoring and Performance: Track server performance, availability, and capacity to ensure secure operations.
Troubleshooting and Support: Resolve web server issues, application failures, connectivity problems, and configuration-related incidents.
Log Analysis: Review IIS logs, Windows Event Viewer logs, and performance counters to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
High Availability Support: Support load balancing, DNS, and high-availability configurations for reliable web services.
Automation and Administration: Use PowerShell scripting and Windows administration skills to streamline operational tasks.
