We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support implementation, roll-out, integration,
and support activities within SAP Production Planning. The role involves working closely with business
and technical teams in a manufacturing setting to ensure smooth planning, execution, and
optimization of production processes. This position is not an end-user role and requires hands-on SAP PP functional expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in SAP PP implementation, roll-out, integration, and support projects.
Configure and support SAP PP modules for Discrete Manufacturing and/or Repetitive
Manufacturing.
Work on production planning and execution processes, including:
Demand planning
Order management
Production order confirmation
Costing and variance analysis
Subcontracting processes
Production version and configuration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, FI/CO) for end-to-end process integration.
Perform data migration and data uploads using LSMW/BDC.
Handle IDOC/EDI integrations and interface-related issues.
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Provide post-go-live support and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, and user guides.
Required Skills & Expertise
Robust hands-on experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
In-depth knowledge of SAP PP business processes in manufacturing environments.
Expertise in:
Demand planning
Production planning & execution
Order confirmations
Costing & subcontracting
Experience with Discrete Manufacturing and/or Repetitive Manufacturing.
Exposure to LSMW / BDC for master and transactional data uploads.
Working knowledge of IDOC / EDI processes (preferred).
Valuable understanding of integration points with MM, SD, and FI/CO.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP PP Certification (Good to have)
Experience in large manufacturing organizations or MNC environments
Exposure to global roll-out projects
