Role & responsibilities -
Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging for large-scale food production.
Coordinate with vendors and production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
Utilize Excel tools like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for inventory and reporting efficiency
Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services.
Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers.
Managing, developing & improving the purchasing team
Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery, and contracts
Preparing & processing requisitions, purchase orders & invoices for purchases.
Raise enquiries from existing and prospective suppliers for provision of quotes. RFQ.




Prepare comparative statements based on the quotes for approval of Purchase Committee
Analyze vendor quotes and select products from suppliers based on price and quality
Giving sourcing input to colleagues to aid business planning & development.
Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues.
Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, and goods ordered and received.
Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships
