We are looking for an experienced Taxation Leader to head the organization's Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, Litigation, and Tax Compliance functions. The role will partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to drive tax strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate tax risks, and optimize the company's tax structure.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Taxation
Manage Corporate Tax, Advance Tax, Tax Returns, Deferred Tax, and Tax Planning initiatives.
Ensure compliance with TDS/TCS regulations and withholding tax requirements.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize group tax positions.

Indirect Taxation (GST & Customs)
Oversee GST compliance, filings, audits, assessments, and reconciliations.
Manage GST refunds, Input Tax Credit (ITC), and tax optimization initiatives.
Handle customs compliance, import/export taxation, EPCG, Advance Authorization, and related perks.

Transfer Pricing & International Taxation
Manage Transfer Pricing policies, documentation, and compliance.
Lead international tax structuring, DTAA perks,



BEPS compliance, and cross-border tax matters.
Support M&A; transactions, business restructuring, and global tax planning initiatives.

Tax Litigation & Risk Management
Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, appeals, and dispute resolution.
Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, auditors, and legal counsels.
Develop robust tax governance and risk management frameworks.

Strategic Advisory
Advise senior leadership on tax implications of business decisions, acquisitions, licensing agreements, and expansion projects.
Drive automation and digitization of taxation processes through ERP and compliance systems.

Desired Profile
CA with 12 - 18 years of experience in Direct & Indirect Taxation.
Strong exposure to Corporate Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, and Tax Litigation.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Large Corporate settings preferred.
Prior experience with Big 4 firms or leading taxation functions in a large organization will be an added advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
