About the Role:-

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Generalist to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with 13 years of hands-on accounting experience who is comfortable managing a variety of day-to-day accounting functions, from bookkeeping and reconciliations to supporting month-end close and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:-
Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare basic financial reports and schedules (P&L;, balance sheet support, cash flow inputs)
Support statutory compliance work, including GST/TDS filings as applicable
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing/payment discrepancies
Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports




Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP/Ind AS)
Support budgeting and expense tracking processes
Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes

Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Relevant accounting experience
Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar)
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
Understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS basics
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good to Have:-
Experience with ERP systems
Exposure to statutory audits
Pursuing or completed CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com
