Job Title : Deployment Automation Engineer

Department : Banking

Location : Santacruz/Airoli

Experience : 5+ years in Release Management and Deployment Automation.

L2 Release Management ( Automation )
Automation and scripting experience is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN, and release automation tools like IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
Experience deploying applications on middleware platforms including WebLogic, Tomcat, Jboss, IIS, microservices-based architectures, and database environments like Oracle DBA, MS SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure EKS, UrbanCode Deploy, OCI, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Python) is an added advantage.
Valuable understanding of ITIL processes, Change Management, and Release Management best practices.




Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing application releases across UAT and Production settings, ensuring successful and timely deployments.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations, to support release activities.
Perform root cause analysis for release and deployment issues and drive timely resolution to minimize business impact.
Solid analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in Banking or Financial Services.
Relevant certifications in Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or ITIL are preferred.
