Role & responsibilities
Prepare and update as-built drawings for pipelines already laid and under construction.
Compile CAD drawings from side data, survey inputs and construction records.
Support creation of GIS-compatible databases for PIMS / PCMS.
Assist in data entry, validation and document control for pipeline project records.
Coordinate with field teams for verification of pipeline alignment, utilities and construction status.
Review pipeline construction records and ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
Support training and handholding of users/contractors on data entry and system usage.
Maintain organized project files, registers and digital records.
Work with MS Office, AutoCAD and related documentation tools.
Liaise with client, contractor, vendor and survey teams as needed.
Preferred candidate profile
BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas pipeline projects.
Working knowledge of pipeline construction and project documentation.
Experience in as-built drawing preparation, CAD compilation and technical record management.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
Familiarity with GIS / database workflows will be an advantage.
Well versed in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
Exposure to PIMS / PCMS / GIS based systems,
Understanding of pipeline route documentation, utility coordination and construction records.
Candidate should be comfortable working in a project setting in West Bengal, Assam and Bihar.
