Role: Environmental Engineer EHS Assistant Seniority Level: Mid-level Preferred Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental Engineering Required Experience: 3 5 years

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and report EMS performance, including ETP/STP/Hazardous Waste systems across sites.
Ensure statutory compliance with Water Act, Air Act, EP Act, Hazardous Waste Rules, and Gujarat Factory Act; prepare and submit regulatory filings.
Conduct risk assessments, JSA, HAZOP studies and assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
Support preparation of ISO/EcoVadis documentation and sustainability reports, liaising directly with the Chief EHS Sustainability Officer.

Environmental Management Systems (EMS) ISO 14001 / EcoVadis compliance
Statutory Regulatory Compliance (Water Act, Air Act, EP Act, Hazardous Waste Rules, Gujarat Factory Act)
Waste Effluent Treatment Operations (ETP, STP, MEE, Scrubbers, Stacks)
Risk Assessment HAZOP / Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Incident Investigation Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with CAPA
Regulatory Reporting Online Portals (Form V, Form IV, XGN)





Positive-to-Have Skills/Technologies
PDIS or equivalent state board safety diploma
Knowledge of GPCB, CPCB, MoEF, DISH regulatory frameworks
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health Safety) implementation experience
Sustainability reporting standards (GRI, CDP)
