Purpose of the Role

To train and develop fresh ITI and Diploma recruits in the safe and productive operation of Karl Mayer Multiaxial and Biaxial weaving machines. The consultant will impart theoretical and hands-on training to build operator competency, ensuring trainees are capable of independently operating machines while adhering to quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Retired professionals with relevant experience in glass fabric weaving and Karl Mayer Multiaxial/Biaxial machines, looking for a consultancy assignment, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured classroom and practical training on Karl Mayer Multiaxial and Biaxial weaving machines.
Train fresh ITI and Diploma recruits on machine components, operating principles, machine setup, production processes, and protected operating practices.
Demonstrate machine setup, threading, creel loading,



fabric changeovers, and routine operational procedures.
Train operators in identifying common machine faults, fabric defects, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Conduct skill assessments through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
Prepare training plans, SOPs, work instructions, and competency assessment checklists.
Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching to bridge skill gaps.
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure trainees are deployment-ready.
Maintain training records and submit periodic progress reports.
Promote a robust culture of safety, quality, discipline, and continuous improvement.
