Accounting Manager (US Accounting)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 Days)

Experience: 5–8 Years (Minimum 3 Years in US Accounting)

Salary: 10 LPA – 15 LPA

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager (US Accounting) to manage the complete accounting function for our US entities. This is a working manager role where you'll own month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and support US leadership while helping build the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
Own the complete month-end close process for US entities.
Manage General Ledger, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and depreciation.
Perform bank, credit card, and payment reconciliations.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare monthly Financial Statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow).
Reconcile intercompany transactions.
Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll reports.
Support audits, lenders, and external accountants.
Create accounting SOPs and improve financial processes.
Train and mentor junior accounting team members.

Required Skills




5–8 years of Accounting experience.
Minimum 3 years of US Accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and the complete accounting cycle.
Hands-on experience with Xero (Preferred) or QuickBooks Online.
Experience managing Month-End Close independently.
Robust expertise in General Ledger, Reconciliations, AP, AR, and Financial Reporting.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Reconciliations).
Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with US stakeholders.
Comfortable working permanent US Night Shift.

Preferred Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) / CPA / EA (Preferred)
Experience in Solar, Construction, Contracting, or Project-Based Accounting is an advantage.
