Role Description The Accountant at RANA TRANSPORT will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking payments and receivables, handling petty cash, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This is a full time,



in office role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications
Strong skills in bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliation.
Ability to prepare and review invoices, manage receivables and payables, and support cash flow tracking.
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, MS Excel, or equivalent tools).
Understanding of basic taxation, compliance requirements, and financial reporting practices.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with operations, management, and external partners.
Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad and manage workloads independently with minimal supervision.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in transport or logistics accounting is an advantage.
