Role Description The Assistant Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing and reconciling bank statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and helping compile basic financial reports. The role will also involve organizing financial documentation, coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and assisting with compliance and audit requirements. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring consistent collaboration with the finance team and other departments.

Qualifications
Robust foundation in basic accounting principles, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software(Tally) and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data entry.
Attention to detail, accuracy in handling numerical data, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow structured financial processes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior internship or work experience in an accounting or finance function is an advantage.
Integrity, discretion in handling confidential financial information, and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
