Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Logistics to manage end-to-end logistics and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in transportation management, dispatch planning, warehouse coordination, vendor management, and ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing logistics costs.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily dispatch and logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Sales, and Customers for smooth material movement.
Plan and monitor transportation schedules and vehicle utilization.
Manage transporters and negotiate freight rates to optimize logistics costs.
Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery (OTIF).
Ensure proper logistics documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, LR, POD, and dispatch records.
Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse teams.
Resolve delivery issues, transit damages, shortages, and customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety,



and company logistics procedures.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports.
Lead and guide the logistics team to achieve operational targets.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of logistics, dispatch, transportation, and warehouse operations.
Experience in transporter and vendor management.
Knowledge of e-way bills, GST documentation, and dispatch processes.
Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Team handling and leadership skills.

Preferred Industry Manufacturing, Packaging, Printing, FMCG, or any production-based industry.
