Experience - 5 to 8 years

Key Key Words:
Non-pressure part/Pressure part(knowledge of pressure vessel -Tanks, Deaerator) Fabrication knowledge
Buying knowledge

Roles and Responsibilities:
Allocation of WBS to vendors with required documents like drawing, QAP, Paint specs etc.
Floating enquiries for NON-RC WBS / items for outside Pune vendors & Follow up with vendor for offers
Order proposal in LN for approval.
Handing Over of indent for PO release with finalized rates with all technical requirements.
Follow up for urgent/critical, spill over calls, out station inspection calls with inspector.
Sale order requisition preparation & confirmation of availability material.




Inform & Follow up with Engineering & Projects if PRP not matching as per drawing
Follow up at vendors place for receipt of PO, Drawings, and QAP.
Regular visits & expediting at vendors place for raw material availability to deliver of job.
Follow up with logistic transport department for dispatch of RFD material.
Follow up for blasting & painting & packing with fabricator.
Vehicle placement follow up for vehicle for sale order material.
ASN preparation & handing over to project.

Critical Competencies:
Drawing reading ability
Sound knowledge of Heavy fabrication processes for various components.

Futuristic skills which might require in case of advancement in role / position:
Negotiation skill.
Vendor management skill.
