The role requires strong editorial judgment, real-time news sense, and an understanding of markets, economy, startups, and corporate developments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and track real-time developments in:

Stock markets (Indian & Global)

Corporate announcements & earnings

Startups, funding, and policy updates

Macro-economy, taxation, RBI & government policies

Create platform-optimized copies for:

X (Twitter)

Instagram

Facebook

YouTube Community

WhatsApp Channels

Convert complex financial stories into simplified, engaging digital formats.

Coordinate with video, graphics, and SEO teams for multimedia storytelling.

Ensure speed with accuracy during breaking business news.

Track analytics and optimize headlines, captions, and content strategy accordingly.





Maintain solid compliance with editorial guidelines and fact-checking protocols.

Write, edit, and publish high-impact business stories for web and app.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in business journalism/digital news.

Strong understanding of

Indian stock markets (NSE/BSE)

Corporate earnings & balance sheets

Budget & policy matters

Excellent English writing and editing skills.

Ability to work in rotational shifts (including market hours).

Familiarity with SEO tools, Google Trends, and social media analytics.

Experience working in a newsroom environment preferred.

Experience in digital-first newsrooms.

Knowledge of financial data platforms.

Ability to break down market data into quick explainer formats.

Strong headline-writing skills for high CTR.
