Job Role
Culinarian
Responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Assist in daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring food quality.
Perform food preparation activities including chopping, portioning, measuring, and storing ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Ensure proper food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen standards are followed.
Support the culinary team to deliver high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including:
Portioning food items
Chopping ingredients
Storing food properly
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
Prepare and cook food according to:
Recipes
Quality standards
Presentation standards
Food preparation checklists
Prepare cold food items as required.
Test food to ensure proper cooking and quality.
Monitor food quality during preparation.
Serve food in correct portions and appropriate serving containers.

Kitchen Operations & Maintenance
Set up and organize workstations before operations.
Break down and clean workstations after completion of tasks.




Check and maintain correct temperatures of:
Kitchen appliances
Food items
Follow proper food storage and handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Food Quality & Safety
Ensure food preparation meets quality expectations and standards.
Follow company food safety and security policies.
