Key Responsibilities
Design and implement reliable, secure, and scalable database schemas
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and fix system errors
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate applications with data layers
Set up data backup, recovery plans, and data integrity protocols [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in database languages like SQL and experience with RDBMS or NoSQL platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
