Requirements Requirements for Direct Support Specialists

Client to Work For
We hire people who are referred by clients and their guardians. We don't find clients for you.

Smartphone An Apple or Android phone with an updated OS and a data plan. You must have a working smartphone with you to check in and out of shifts.

Background Check For safety, we check for any history of abuse or Medicaid fraud.
We pay for it.

Fingerprinting
We pay for fingerprinting at an approved location. Must happen before your first shift.

Ligo Care App The app is how you manage your schedule, check in and out of shifts, write notes, and get paid.

Write Shift Notes
Brief notes for each shift so we can get reimbursed by the state and pay you.
