We are seeking a agile and experienced DGM/AGM Finance & Accounting professional to lead our finance operations in Bangalore. The role involves overseeing financial accounting, general ledger management, P&L; and balance sheet reporting, fund and working capital management, and accounts receivable & payable management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing cash flow, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day financial accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
Oversee general ledger management, including month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Prepare and analyze P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Develop and implement fund and working capital management strategies to optimize liquidity and reduce financial risk.
Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.




Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements, and lead external audit engagements.
Mentor and develop finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and qualified growth.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Strong expertise in financial accounting, general ledger management, P&L; and balance sheet reporting.
Proven track record in fund and working capital management, as well as accounts receivable and payable management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
