Role & responsibilities
Procure medicines, OTC products, surgical items, medical devices, and healthcare products from authorized vendors.
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs)
Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and order confirmations.
Ensure optimum stock availability while avoiding overstocking and stock-outs.
Monitor inventory levels, slow-moving items, and expiry-sensitive products.
Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and discounts with suppliers.
Coordinate with warehouse and stores for receipt and verification of purchased goods.
Resolve issues related to shortages, damaged goods, and supplier discrepancies.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor master data, and purchase documentation.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and vendor payment reconciliation.




Prepare periodic purchase, inventory, and vendor performance reports.
Identify current vendors and evaluate existing suppliers based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery performance.
Support promotional buying and seasonal inventory planning.

Retail Pharmacy Chains

Preferred candidate profile

1) Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma),

2) 7-8years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a retail pharmacy

3) Experience in vendor management, purchase order processing, price negotiation, and inventory planning.

4) Robust understanding of procurement procedures, stock management, and supply chain operations.

5) Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
