Role & responsibilities
Lead the electrical design and engineering activities for automobile paint shop projects ensuring compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
Prepare and review electrical system architecture and detailed engineering documents.
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, cable schedules, cable tray layouts, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and panel layouts.
Design electrical systems including LT systems, PCCs, MCCs, control panels, transformers, switchgear, motors, VFDs, UPS, lighting, and earthing systems.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Process, Automation) to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including vendor evaluation, procurement support, design reviews, FAT, SAT, installation, testing, commissioning, and site troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with customer standards,
while maintaining quality documentation and engineering best practices.
8.Mentor junior engineers, review engineering deliverables, and drive continuous improvement in design quality and project execution
Preferred candidate profile
a. Electrical system design for automobile paint shops.
b. LT power distribution design, MCC, PCC, and control panel engineering.
c. Motor control and protection systems, Cable sizing and routing.
d. Earthing and lightning protection systems for industrial facilities.
e. Electrical load estimation and power system calculations.
f. Knowledge of hazardous area classifications for paint shop settings.
g. Familiarity with energy-effective electrical system design.
h.Electrical Engineer who can handle Electrical department independently including Design, and Site installation and commissioning
