Role & responsibilities
Develop furniture design concepts, mood boards, and detailed drawings for live commercial and residential projects.
Prepare 2D working drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.
Assist in material selection, finishes, hardware specification, and joinery detailing.
Coordinate with the factory and production team on prototypes, samples, and quality checks.
Support BOQ preparation, costing inputs, and vendor coordination for furniture packages.
Conduct site visits and assist with measurements, installation supervision, and snag resolution.
Research market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to bring fresh ideas to the studio.

Preferred candidate profile
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (mandatory); knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
Robust sketching ability and understanding of furniture proportions, ergonomics, and materials.
Basic knowledge of wood, metal, laminates, veneers, upholstery, and hardware.
Positive communication skills and willingness to work in office and at the factory when required.
A portfolio of academic or personal furniture/product design work (must be submitted with application).
