AI Security Engineering & Enablement (AISE) is Cognizant centralized AI security engineering function purpose-built to ensure every AI workload the organization builds adopts or delivers is Secure by Design. AISE provides five technical service domains covering the full AI security lifecycle architecture & reference design platform security data & model security adversarial validation and engineering enablement. Responsibilities

Own and maintain AI security reference architectures for Azure AWS and GCP AI service stacks covering deployment patterns network boundaries identity data flow and guardrail integration

Define and maintain platform security baselines for Azure OpenAI Service Azure AI Foundry Microsoft Copilot Amazon Bedrock SageMaker Vertex AI and GCP Gemini services





Conduct STRIDE-based threat models for hyperscaler AI platforms and derive platform-specific control requirements

Define AI-native identity and access patterns managed identities workload identity federation and agent authorization boundaries on each hyperscaler

Design data boundary and data classification controls for AI workloads handling sensitive data on cloud platforms

Produce guardrail integration blueprints for hyperscaler-hosted LLM and agentic workloads covering prompt sanitization output filtering and PII redaction at the platform layer

Co-design secure AI solutions with IT AI Architects and delivery teams providing architecture sign-off and security blueprints as formal AISE deliverables

Certifications Required

Experience designing identity architectures for AI workloads managed identities OAuth 2.0 client credentials flows RBAC/ABAC for model access
