This is a project based prospect for Freelancers/Independent Consultants.

Our client, a growth equity fund company is looking to engage with a Consultant - Interim CFO to provide strategic financial leadership during a critical phase of business growth. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a CFO, possess a strong engineering/services industry background, and have successfully led fundraising initiatives, financial strategy, and investor engagement.

Key responsibilities:
Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging strong FP&A; and strategic finance expertise
Partner with business leaders on FP&A;, budgeting, and performance management, translating insights into actions
Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A;).




Ensure timely preparation of MIS, board reports, and financial performance reviews.
Drive financial controls, compliance, statutory reporting, taxation, and audit processes.
Evaluate business performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend strategic initiatives to improve profitability.

Skills Required
Solid analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Skilled qualification such as CA is preferred; MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Proven fundraising and investor relations experience
Expertise in corporate finance, compliance, and risk management
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

Preferred Background
Engineering Services / Technology Services / Industrial Engineering sector
Experience working with founders and leadership teams
CA preferred; MBA (Finance) is an added advantage
