Role Description The Site Engineer role at Atha Estates is a full-time, on-site position based in Ponda, Goa.

The Site

Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, monitoring progress against project schedules, and conducting quality checks on materials and workmanship. The role involves supporting structural and civil engineering decisions on site, resolving technical issues, and maintaining explicit documentation of site activities.

The Site

Engineer will also communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and clients to keep stakeholders informed and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications
Ability to manage on-site operations, including supervision of construction teams and coordination of day-to-day site activities.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients,



and for preparing clear reports and updates.
Experience in quality control, including inspection of materials, verification of construction methods, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Knowledge of structural engineering principles and their practical application in residential projects such as bungalows and villas.
Background as a civil engineer or in civil engineering, with familiarity in project execution, drawings, and local building codes.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; licensure or registration with relevant qualified bodies is an advantage.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using basic construction management tools and software.
Ability to work independently, take responsibility for decisions on site, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced workplace.
