Role Description The Legal Advisor will provide comprehensive legal support to MahaChai’s operations in Nagpur, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and updating contracts and legal documents, advising on legal risks related to expansion, operations, and vendor relationships, and addressing legal issues arising from business activities.

The role will involve guiding management on labor and employment law matters, supporting policy development, and coordinating with external legal counsel when needed. This is a full time,



on-site position based in Nagpur, requiring close collaboration with leadership, HR, and operations teams.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Ability to identify, analyze, and manage Legal Issues and provide transparent, practical Legal Advice to internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including compliance with hiring practices, workplace policies, and dispute resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; additional specialization in corporate or commercial law is an advantage.
Prior experience as an in-house legal advisor or working with clients in the food and beverage, retail, or QSR sector is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and strong negotiation abilities.
Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and maintain high ethical standards.
