Creation of Routes, Services & plugins Kong.
Design, implement, and maintain Kong configurations and custom plugins to meet business and technical requirements.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operation of API services.
Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for API management.
Continuously analyse system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and throughput.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Kong with existing systems and workflows.
Provide support for incident resolution and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in API gateway operations with a robust focus on Kong.
Proficiency in Kong API gateway, Lua scripting, and related technologies.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes,



and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
In-depth knowledge of API security practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API key management.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability post-migration.
Hands-on experience in API management platforms, robust understanding of enterprise integration patterns, and proven expertise in API gateway configuration, security, and performance optimization.
Oversee the development and maintenance of the Kong API gateway, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
Hands on experience for installation of Kong API gateway in hybrid mode topology.
