We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and scale robust backend systems and applications. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in system design, hands-on coding, and experience working on high-performance, scalable SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems
● Lead end-to-end development of backend services and applications
● Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and AI teams
● Review code, mentor junior engineers, and drive best engineering practices
● Optimize system performance, scalability, and security
● Participate in technical decision-making and architecture discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 8+ years of experience in software development
● Solid proficiency in either Python or Node.js
● Experience with Python frameworks like Django or FastAPI, or Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS
● Good understanding of software architecture and system design principles
● Understanding of coding standards, best practices, and code review processes
● Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and vibe coding concepts
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
● Knowledge of databases, APIs, and cloud-based applications
● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup setting
Good to Have
● Experience working on SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
● Exposure to AI/ML-based systems or data-driven applications
● Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
