What you ll do
Prepare and serve exceptional coffee, tea and specialty beverages to The Hoxtons quality and presentation standards.
Deliver a warm, friendly and memorable experience to every guest, building genuine connections through excellent service.
Maintain expert knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, milk texturing and beverage recipes.
Recommend beverages and food pairings while confidently upselling menu items and seasonal specials.
Ensure coffee machines, grinders and all barista equipment are cleaned, maintained and operating efficiently.
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups and other supplies, reporting replenishment requirements in a timely manner.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within the coffee bar and service areas.
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately while following company procedures.
Work closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Stay up to date with coffee trends and continuously develop your product knowledge and craft. Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop, lifestyle restaurant or hotel.
Solid knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee extraction, milk steaming and latte art.
Excellent communication skills with a warm, engaging and guest-focused approach.
A passion for coffee, attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high-quality beverages.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards.
