Manual Test Engineer —

Experience: 3–5 Years | Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with solid testing expertise, solid understanding of business workflows, SQL proficiency, and basic MongoDB knowledge to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts covering Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
Analyze requirements and user stories to derive end-to-end test scenarios aligned with business flows.
Log, track, and perform root cause analysis of defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps.
Validate data integrity by writing SQL queries against relational databases.
Perform basic MongoDB queries to verify NoSQL data.
Maintain RTM for full traceability and contribute to QA documentation and process improvements.
Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Katalon AI) to auto-generate test cases, prioritize coverage,



and accelerate the testing process.

Familiarity with AI-assisted test case generation and coverage analysis tools

Positive to Have
API testing (Postman / REST Assured)
Test management tools — TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest
Git basics and automation concepts awareness

Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science / IT or related field
3–5 years of hands-on Manual Testing experience
ISTQB Foundation Level — preferred
