Role Summary
As an Associate Data Engineer, you will develop scalable, analytics-ready data products on the ZAIDYN platform. You will build ETL pipelines, transform and validate data, implement business rules, and deliver trusted datasets that power analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and deploy scalable data solutions.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and validating data.
Build analytics-ready data products for reporting, dashboards, and AI use cases.
Design data models and implement business rules to ensure data quality and consistency.
Define and develop KPIs to support business analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including engineering, analytics, and BI.
Follow best practices in Agile development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control.
Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, deployment planning, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Integration.
Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and data pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.
Positive understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, fact & dimension tables).
Experience building data products for analytics and reporting.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data or ETL technologies such as Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Exposure to Pharma or Life Sciences projects is a plus.
Strong ownership mindset with a passion for building scalable, high-quality data solutions.
Eagerness to learn emerging technologies, AI, and cloud-native data platforms.
