Position: Merchandiser – Homeware Designing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Homeware Merchandiser to manage product development, sourcing, costing, market research, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Research current homeware, dcor, textile, and lifestyle trends.
Develop new homeware product concepts with the design team.
Handle sourcing of fabrics, materials, accessories, trims, and other product requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare and manage product costing, pricing, and quotations.
Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and quality.
Coordinate sampling, product development, approvals, and modifications.
Follow up with vendors for timely samples and production.
Conduct competitor and market research to identify new product opportunities.
Maintain product details, costing sheets, vendor information, and development records.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Sales teams.




Ensure products meet required quality, design, cost, and delivery standards.
Track product development from concept to final production.

Requirements:
Experience in Merchandising, Homeware, Home Textiles, Fashion, or Lifestyle Products preferred.
Good knowledge of sourcing, costing, product development, and vendor management.
Strong research and market-trend analysis skills.
Positive communication and negotiation skills.
Solid follow-up and coordination abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines effectively.
