– MRD Manager (IVF Centre) Job Title: MRD Manager Department: Medical Records Department (MRD) Location: IVF Centre / Hospital Reports To: Centre Head / Hospital Administrator Job Summary The MRD Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all patient medical records in the IVF centre, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and easy retrieval of records. The role includes supervising MRD staff, managing electronic and physical files, supporting NABH audits, and coordinating with doctors, embryologists, nurses, and admin teams. This aligns with standard MRD manager responsibilities in hospitals.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the Medical Records Department Maintain patient files, IVF treatment records, consent forms, scan reports, and discharge summaries Ensure proper filing, indexing, coding, scanning, and storage of records Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data and treatment history Coordinate with doctors, IVF specialists, embryologists, and nursing teams for documentation completion Ensure all IVF cycle documents are properly updated in EMR/HIS systems Handle record retrieval for medico-legal, insurance,



and patient requests Prepare MIS reports, audit reports, and monthly record statistics Support NABH / quality audits / compliance checks Train and supervise MRD executives and record staff Monitor record retention and disposal policies Ensure timely closure of pending files and incomplete documentation Maintain reports related to IUI, IVF, ICSI, embryo transfer, OT, lab, and donor records Required Skills Robust knowledge of MRD operations Knowledge of hospital/IVF documentation standards Experience with EMR, HIS, or IVF software Valuable knowledge of NABH documentation Excellent leadership and team management Attention to detail and confidentiality Solid reporting and MIS preparation skills Qualification Graduate / Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration / Health Information Management Certification in MRD or Medical Coding preferred 3–5 years of MRD experience in hospital or IVF setup Preferred Experience Experience in IVF centre, fertility clinic, or women’s healthcare hospital Knowledge of ART documentation, consent handling, embryo record maintenance
