A 31,920-square-foot industrial building in Middletown has sold for $3.5 million.

Sill Lane Properties LLC, controlled by Nancy Tashash and Louis Tashash of Old Lyme, purchased the property at 2303 S. Main St. from 2303 Main Street LLC in a sale recorded July 9, according to city property records.

Seller 2303 Main Street LLC is controlled by Jonathan Gavin, who lists a Yalesville business address.

The one-story industrial building, built in 1978, sits on 3.8 acres in an I-4 industrial zone near Interstate 91 and Route 9. It contains about 31,920 square feet, including 3,840 square feet of office space, and features a 20-foot transparent ceiling height and a loading platform.

Philip Gagnon of Colliers represented the buyer. It was not immediately transparent what plans the new owners have for the property.

According to its website, Compass Power Coating LLC is a tenant in the building.
