Responsibilities:
Responsible for fitting, edging, and assembling lenses into spectacle frames with precision and accuracy.
Interpret and work from optical prescriptions to ensure the correct lens type, power, and fitting requirements.
Handle and operate optical instruments, lensometers, and edging machines efficiently.
Conduct lens cutting, alignment, and mounting as per frame specifications.
Inspect finished spectacles for quality, accuracy, and comfort before delivery to customers.
Make necessary adjustments and repairs to frames and lenses when required.
Maintain records of lens orders, repairs, and fittings.
Ensure proper handling and storage of optical materials and tools.
Coordinate with optometrists and sales staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of eyewear to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fitting lab/workshop area.
Follow company standards and safety protocols during all fitting and technical processes.
