Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations at the plant.
Plan and coordinate vehicle placement, loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.
Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer and business requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Purchase, and Transporters for smooth material movement.
Monitor daily vehicle availability, vehicle turnaround time, loading time, and dispatch schedules.
Manage and monitor transporters, drivers, and logistics vendors.
Ensure optimum vehicle utilization and minimize detention, freight, and logistics costs.
Track and resolve issues related to vehicle delays, shortages, damages, documentation, and delivery.
Ensure proper documentation including e-way bills, invoices, delivery challans, LR/GRN, and dispatch documents.
Monitor stock movement and ensure system and physical inventory reconciliation.
