Role Description The Patient Care Assistant is a full time, on-site role based in New Delhi, supporting clinical teams in delivering direct and indirect patient care.
Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and comfort measures, under the supervision of nursing or medical staff. The role involves measuring and recording vital signs, reporting changes in patient status, and maintaining accurate documentation.
The Patient Care
Assistant helps prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensures clean and secure patient areas, and supports effective communication between patients, families, and the care team.
The position requires adherence to infection-control practices, safety protocols, and organizational policies at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Patient Care and Direct Patient Care skills, with a focus on safety, dignity, and comfort.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Medical Terminology to understand instructions and document patient information accurately.
Candidates should possess skills in monitoring and recording Vital Signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Candidates should possess clear and respectful Communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Completion of a recognized patient care technician, nursing aide, or similar clinical support training program is preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting is beneficial.
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
