Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Ayurveda (BAMS), Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
Master's Degree (M.Pharm/MBA Operations) will be an added advantage.
Solid knowledge of GMP, WHO-GMP, AYUSH, and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the complete manufacturing operations of the Ayurveda production plant.
Ensure smooth production planning, scheduling, and timely dispatch of finished goods.
Implement and maintain GMP, WHO-GMP, AYUSH, and quality standards across all manufacturing processes.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Stores, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
Optimize manpower, machinery, and production resources to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Monitor production KPIs, plant efficiency, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.




Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence.
Develop and mentor plant teams to build a high-performance work culture.
Prepare production reports, MIS, budgets, and performance reviews for senior management.

Required Skills
Solid leadership and team management capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
Excellent production planning and inventory management skills.
Sound understanding of quality systems, documentation, and compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in Ayurveda, Herbal, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing will be preferred.
