We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in switchgear/heavy fabrication. The role involves vendor inspections, quality checks, and expediting manufacturing activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Visit vendor works to assess progress, quality, and expedite jobs
Perform welding inspections and ensure adherence to WPS/PQR
Conduct dimensional verification as per drawings
Inspect galvanizing quality (coating thickness, finish, defects)
Witness and review NDT (UT, RT, MPT, DPT)
Prepare inspection reports and ensure closure of non-conformances

Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of welding, fabrication, galvanizing, and NDT
Ability to read engineering drawings
Willingness to travel to vendor locations

Preferred: Experience in switchgear or structural fabrication industry
