– General Manager Location: By The Bay – Beach Cocktail Terrace Role Summary: The General Manager is responsible for the overall profitability, operations, guest experience, and team performance of By The Bay. The role involves leading all departments to deliver exceptional hospitality while achieving revenue, cost, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar. Drive sales through marketing initiatives, events, and guest engagement. Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve customer concerns.

Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff across all departments. Monitor food, beverage, labour, and operating costs to maximize profitability. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and legal compliance.

Oversee inventory, purchasing, vendor management, and stock control. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and analyze business performance. Coordinate with kitchen, service,



bar, marketing, and accounts teams to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure SOPs are followed and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Skills &

Qualifications 5–10 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in premium dining, lounges, or hospitality. Robust leadership, communication, and people management skills. Sound understanding of restaurant P&L;, budgeting, and cost control.

Experience with marketing, events, and online delivery platforms. Ability to work under pressure and lead large teams.
