ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused, and performance-driven Sales Officers to drive sales growth and market expansion in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in channel sales, distributor management, and retailer engagement, with a passion for achieving business targets. This is a field-based role requiring regular market visits, relationship management, and execution excellence to build a strong distribution network and increase product visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
Drive primary and secondary sales through effective market coverage.
Expand product availability and visibility across General Trade, Contemporary Trade, and Pharmacy channels.




Conduct regular retailer visits to strengthen relationships and increase business.
Execute trade promotions, merchandising activities, product displays, and visibility initiatives.
Monitor distributor inventory and ensure optimum stock availability.
Track competitor activities, pricing, promotional schemes, and market trends.
Collect market intelligence and provide actionable feedback to the Area Sales Manager.
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy working capital.
Prepare daily call reports, beat plans, sales reports, and market updates.
Ensure effective implementation of company sales policies and promotional campaigns.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
23 years of sales experience in Health & Wellness, Nutraceuticals, FMCG, Ayurveda, OTC Healthcare, Personal Care, or Consumer Products.
Solid understanding of channel sales and distribution management.
Experience handling distributors, retailers, pharmacies, and wholesalers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Good knowledge of the local market and retail network.
